Who is Coucou Suzette ?
A fun and quirky brand born from the imagination of Juliette Mallet. With colorful accessories, retro inspirations, and a good dose of humor, discover the story behind Coucou Suzette’s vibrant world.

2016
THE BEGINNING
It all started in 2016—with a boob!Back then, Juliette made a ring for a friend, topped with a tiny ceramic breast. She posted a photo on Instagram and surprise! Requests came flooding in.A bit surprised but thrilled, Juliette started selling her creations online, loving every minute of the process, until she quit her comfy full-time job to dive headfirst into the adventure. And that’s how Coucou Suzette was born.

2017
BABY STEPS
After the boob ring came the first enamel pins—boobs, hands, and eyes—then the launch of quirky, cheeky patterned socks.Sales kept rising, and Juliette hired her very first employee: Clotilde, now our Managing Director!Coucou Suzette officially opened its own website and began selling B2B as well. Soon, the designs popped up in shops like Colette, the iconic concept store in Paris’s 8th arrondissement.

2018
COLLAB TIME
A little Instagram like turned into a big collaboration—with Belgian pop star Angèle!The “eye” phone case became one of the stars of her La Thune music video, and Coucou Suzette created several goodies for her Brol tour.

2020
THE HAIR CLIP ERA BEGINS
Looking to diversify, Juliette launched a new line of hair claws.Tired of dull designs on the market, she dreamed up colorful and playful accessories—the very first being the iconic blue eye claw (inspired by our eye box), which was an instant hit!

2021
HELLO, CELEBS!
Jennie from the K-pop group BLACKPINK posted on Instagram wearing our eye claw—and later, the gray cat claw—sending sales through the roof and giving Coucou Suzette major recognition in South Korea. In France, collabs continued—this time with singer Julien Doré, for whom Juliette designed a pair of socks featuring his two beloved pups during his Aimée tour. The business kept growing, and Lisa (now our B2B manager) joined the team!

2023
SUZETTE GIVES BACK
We’re now a happy team of seven—yay!Coucou Suzette’s growing success allowed us to start donating to multiple charities and to join 1% for the Planet, a nonprofit organization that brings together purpose-driven companies under a simple promise: donate 1% of annual revenue to environmental causes.

2024

TEAM
The dream team behind your favorite accessories
Behind every colorful creation is a joyful team of passionate people!
Design, logistics, communication… Meet the faces behind Coucou Suzette.

JULIETTE
Juliette Mallet, Parisian illustrator who grew up in a family of artists. Graduated from the Arts Déco in Paris (ENSAD) and studied jewelry at the Ecole Boulle, she fell in love with japan where she studied for some time.
Spontaneous and passionate, she draws what she thinks is funny and transforms it into daily accessory. Her sources of inspiration are comics, and especially the “Tom-Tom et Nana” collection, which Juliette loves and reads again and again. Juliette is also a huge fan of Jacques Demy and spends her free time doing ceramic, garden work, singing at her choir or drawing in the grass with her huge Bernese Mountain Dog, Joya.

CLOTILDE
After studying Arts and Culture at university and going to London for a few months, Clotilde worked in cool art galleries and designer shops. She was the first one to join the Coucou Suzette journey! She supports Juliette in each task and makes sure every collection launches properly!
With her watchful eye, she helps Juliette in the creative process, and supervises the whole team like a conductor.

LISA
Lisa loves dancing and she lived the American Dream as a travel planner for dancers throughout the US. Now she takes care of our Coucou Suzette resellers all over the world and makes sure they receive all the new creations.

CLARA
After studying English & art history in France, Ireland and London, Clara came back home and took care of the little ones (who taught her patience…) before joining the Coucou Suzette journey!
Between two hot chocolates, Clara manages the after-sales service & logistics, she creates the product sheets, deals with the pictures... A true multi-tasker! And if you give us a call at the office, she will probably be the one answering with a sweet voice… She answers every question and deals with all the little issues with a smile on her face!

CAMILLE
Camille is passionate about fashion, marketing and communication: that’s all we needed for her to join the team! She is the one behind the marketing strategy of Coucou Suzette: website management and promotion, creation of newsletters, SEO… She connects aesthetics and usability to get the best customer experience possible.
When she’s not working on Excel, Camille loves to order tasty food for lunch break. If the bell rings at 1pm, no doubt it is for her - we are waiting for the day when the delivery guy calls her by her first name!

FANNY
You love watching our stories on Instagram? Say thanks to Fanny! She’s an expert in fashion & digital communication and is the best at creating content. A true energy ball always looking for new inspirations!
You can witness her creativity through her looks: everyday feels like a fashion show with her and we’re here for it! She is part of the 50% of the team who worship Jacques Demy, one of the most famous film directors, and she dreams about a world where we would only eat tomatoes & mozzarella.

LUCILE
Lucile was first a copywriter & translator as a freelancer for Coucou Suzette before she joined the team full time to help the busy little bees. Besides the product sheets and newsletters, she coordinates life at the office and makes sure all her co-workers are happy campers.
You are selling counterfeits of our creations? Beware, behind her big smile hides the relentless person doing the reports and sending you the unhappy messages!

YU
Who said purchasing managers were boring? That's certainly not the case with Yu: a woman of a thousand faces, as sweet when she arrives at the office all smiles and energy, as she is firm when it comes to negotiating prices while frantically tapping her candy-pink calculator.
She also masters excel spreadsheets like no one else and finds all lost parcels in the blink of an eye, so don't test her on the subject.

MARGAUX
After a bachelor's degree in Toulouse and a master's degree in Paris in luxury goods and design, Margaux trained as a product manager. Her role at Coucou Suzette is to transform Juliette's pretty designs into finished products! To do this, she works directly with our manufacturers, following the development of each new product, managing the improvement of existing products, and ensuring that creations meet our desires and quality standards.
Margaux is also in charge of finding new suppliers to bring our wildest ideas to life! All the while making sure we're on time for our collection releases, of course.

CLÉA
Exchange year in England, internship in Barcelona, studies in Paris... Cléa has hopped from city to city before arriving at Coucou Suzette! This specialist in languages and international trade was recruited to support Lisa in B2B management. She manages reseller requests, follows up on orders and gives a helping hand to after-sales when needed.
A gen z infiltrated in a team of millennials who never lacks humour or good ideas!
